From France

What travelling from France changes: the airports that serve Batna, what a stay looks like, what belongs in the budget besides the treatment, and how follow-up continues once you are home.

Page in preparation. It stays out of search engines until it is written.

Flights to Batna, Constantine and Algiers

Batna is served by Mostefa Ben Boulaïd airport, just outside the city. It is the shortest arrival, and also the one with the fewest services.

The two other usual gateways are Constantine and Sétif, each about two hours away by road and both widely used by routes to France. Algiers remains the main hub, about five hours by road or a domestic flight.

Carriers, departure cities and frequencies change from season to season: a page that lists them is wrong six months later, so check current schedules when you book. What does not change is the geography — four possible airports, three of them within two hours of the clinic.

A typical stay

For a crown or veneers, count on a week on site: consultation and impression early in the stay, the final piece fitted a few days later, a check before you leave.

For an implant, two stays three to four months apart. The first is short — examination, imaging, placement. The second, for the crown, is short too. The interval is a biological delay, not a scheduling one.

Many patients fit the first stay into the summer holidays and the second into the new year or spring. Writing before booking the ticket, rather than after, is the one thing that prevents a stay too short for what was planned.

What it comes to in total

Treatment prices are published on this site, one by one, in euros and as starting prices: a complete implant — implant, abutment and crown — starts at €600. Each page says what pushes its own figure up, because a starting price alone would not let you plan a budget.

Those amounts indicate the order of magnitude; they are not a means of payment. Payment is in cash, in dinars, at the clinic, and you change money on arrival. No deposit is payable before you come: the written quote given after examination is the amount you pay.

The rest of the budget does not depend on the clinic — the flight, accommodation, getting around, and the second trip if it is an implant. It is costed as for any stay and is worth settling beforehand rather than after. None of this treatment is covered by CNAS; on any French reimbursement, the question belongs with your caisse and your mutuelle, not with the clinic.

Papers and formalities

Entry requirements depend on your nationality and your papers, they change, and there is only one source that settles them: the Algerian consulate you come under. This page does not reproduce them, because a rule copied onto a website is a rule out of date.

On the clinic’s side there are no formalities beforehand: no file to assemble, no deposit, no document to send before you arrive. If your travel file calls for confirmation of an appointment or a quote, ask for it on WhatsApp before you submit it.

Bring what you already have: old radiographs, quotes drawn up elsewhere, a list of your current medication. It saves repeating an examination you have already had.

Follow-up once home

Follow-up is by WhatsApp, with the practitioner who treated you. A photograph answers most healing questions, and the answer comes from the practitioner, not from a receptionist.

If something urgent happens while you are in France, the clinic refers you to a colleague there, so that somebody examines you that day rather than you waiting for the next flight.

Implants and fixed prosthetics carry a five-year warranty. The limit is worth stating before you commit: work redone under warranty is done in Batna. Remote follow-up handles worries and emergencies; it does not replace an appointment.

How long do you need to stay?
About a week for a crown or veneers, because of the laboratory step. For an implant, two short stays three to four months apart.
Can you pay in euros?
Payment is in cash, in dinars, at the clinic. The euro amounts published on this site indicate the order of magnitude; you change money on arrival.

Prices and timings supplied by the clinic on 6 September 2026. Road distances are approximate. Air routes and entry requirements for Algeria change: check them with the airlines and with the Algerian consulate you come under respectively.
